Default Setting PIN for DSE 7310 Controller to protect against dialing in on GSM Modem

    Hi,

I want to protect the controller against people dialing into it with a module pin. How do I set a module pin?

You can set the module pin in a DSE 7310 controller, by opening the DSE configuration suite and going to

Scada >>> Maintainance >>> Module Pin

However this will not protect the set against people dialing into it.

In order to acheive this, you shoudl treat the telephone number GSM data card as secret and ensure only people you want to access it are given the number.

Warning - care should be taken when adjusting these controls. If the password is lost or forgotton it will not be possible to access the module.
