Voltage&Frequency Alternation?
My company bought a diesel genset with ECO28-2L/4 generator and ISUZU engine, which stored in our warehouse for a long time, recently we take it out for generation use. Unfortunately, the operation&service manual had been lost, if possible, could you send me an e-version copy of the manual for this model?
Another question: On the nameplate of the generator, the rated output-voltage is 133/230/266/460V with frequency 60HZ, but what we need is 380V/50HZ, could you tell me how to set the system to satisfy my needs? Or whether the rated voltage and frequency of genset can be changed?
Thank you very much&best wishes!

We dont use IZUZU engines here I am afraid, I would contact IZUZU.
For the Alternator however, you can find the Mecc Alte manual for it here:
http://www.meccalte.com/send_file.ph...CO-ECP manuale
That has all the instructions in it. If you want some more advice please reply to this thread.

Thank you very much for your help, I have downloaded the manual. But for the second question I asked above, I still have no idea for it, could you give some more advice for the changing of voltage/frequency, no matter what kind of engine, the engine is controlled by the alternator controller, I think it should be this way. Do you think it possible to change the rated value on the nameplate?

That is not correct I am afriad.
95%+ of engines are controlled by the engine govonor alone in the generator world. The balance are controlled by a govonor interfacing with a controller to do fine speed adjustment.
In order to adjust the frequency you need to adjust the speed.
Sometimes the govonor is electronic, normally it is a simple mechanical on the smaller sizes.
In order to change the engine speed you will need to adjust the throtal on the engine.
If the engine has an ECU and unit injectors (which I doubt) or a electronic govonor it will need to be programmed by the an agent of the engine manufacturer or someone else with the tools and the appropriate skills. You may find they charge you for this.
We do not offer IZUZU engines so thats not something I can help with directly.
The voltage is normally adjustable by adjusting the voltage pot on the AVR. If the mecc Alte is AVR controled, there are details in the manual on how to adjust the voltage.
The AVR is LIVE when the engine is running, so this should be done while the engine is at rest and isolated.
If the AVR will not adjust the voltage, you might need a new one, which you can get from our spares department.
