Engine Runs Erratically

Hello all,

My perkins diesel generator on full load it rund erratically, it speeds up then it slows down, and does this all time?

It has 570 hours of use what should i look out for?

Hello,

This problem is very rare but it happens it a certain ahrd one to repair.

Here are some solutions:

- Restriction in fuel pipe
- Fault in fuel lift pump
- Dirty fuel filter
- Restriction in air induction system
- Air in fuel system
- Fault in fuel injector units
- Fault in codl start system
- Restriction in fuel tank vent
- Restricted movement of engine speed control
- Engine temperature is too high
