The engine oil temp is too high?!

Hi there,

I have a 1300 series Perkins Diesel Generator and the engine oil temperature is too high?!

Ive checked the air induction system and there is no restriction, what else could it be?

Hello Miguel,

Many things can be causing this and i know this is very stressful. What could be causing this is restriction in the air induction system, fault in the fuel injector units, fault in the codl start system, restriction in the exhaust pipe, fan could be damaged, too much lubrication oil in sump, restrictions in the air/water passages of radiator, insufficent coolant in system or the drive belt for water pump is loose.
