Welland Standard Product Looks Smarter
Welland Power perkins range now have a smarter look about them. Read how this new smarter look enables your business to benefit.
Welland Power products have always been some of the best products on the market in terms of the finish and final standard, however due to the launch of the new Perkins 110x range of engines, Welland have adjusted the final paint finish to make the sets look even better.
During our extended trials of the Perkins 110x range, we found that our old colour scheme was not suitable to the needs of our customers. We have alongside our standard Welland Brand, always offered black generators. These sets have a number of advantages over the standard units.
Firstly, they offer a classic black and silver finish. This finish instantly enables end users to gain several advantages.
Firstly they can see that the product is new and unused. They can see this clearly by the engine, the days when customers want to look under the paint 'just to check' the set is new, as no painting is done on the engine, the condition of the engine clear.
Secondly, the set will remain the same colour throughout its life. On the old paint scheme, as parts were changed, they reverted back to the original colour, now because they remain the original colour, the sets appearance remains constant.
Thirdly, the Black and Silver finish looks stunning.
Also, the sets are faster to assemble, which is why the last time we issues a price list, the full increase from Perkins was not passed onto our customers. We envisage that this trend will continue allowing us to provide better value.
There are also issues related to the painting of the new range that mean painting it is not really appropriate. The new Perkins 110x series uses plastic radiator tanks and paint will not stick to the plastic, it comes away peeling. This fact means that the sets do not look good painted like they used to.
Welland as always envisage that painting on this small range will be available, at additional cost. Due to the manufacturing process, it takes longer to paint these sets than the old range.
Please see your sales engineer if you would like them painted in the current colour scheme for the additional cost.
