New Perkins 1103 Range Availability Update

Perkins currently have a strong demand on 1103 engine ranges, we believe that this demand will lead to a shortage of products at the end of the year.


Perkins Engine Company have experienced a strong demand for the new 1103 engine range following its launch earlier in the year.
"This strong demand has put pressure on supplies. While this strong demand will undoubtedly cause some smaller companies to run out of products in this range, we do not expect to have the same problem currently. We have taken steps to manage our current allocations and try and gain extra product from Perkins for our customer base." explained a Sales Engineer.
"There is no surprise at the demand level for the 1103 Perkins engine. It has been warmly welcomed by our customers and Perkins customers alike because of its emission compliant position. While stationary generators do not yet come under the EEC regulations for emissions, it is important that everyone keeps the environment clean by reducing the emission of harmful gasses and particulates."
This strong demand has been driven by many sources, but is believed to have been effected by strong demand in all sectors including construction, IOPU and Electropak production.
The issues in the southern USA are not going to help this demand, there is going to be a strong demand for pumps and generators for some time.
Customers wishing to reserve capacity at our plants should do so as early as possible to avoid disappointment. Non customers wishing to gain supply from Welland should consult one of our experienced sales engineers as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
