    Default perkins turbo engine

I have a Perkins 4.236T engine which has got frosted and there is oil in the water and vice versa. I have been offered a Perkins 4.236 engine. Is it a simple matter of just bolting on the turbo parts from the 4.236T to turbo it or are there other differences between the two engines.
Also what is the hp of each engine, would using a 4.236 result inmuch loss of performance.
    Thanks

I am afraid not. While many of the parts are similar, the Turbo version, due to its higher rating, has different injectors, fuel pump e.t..c

A standard 4236 produces between 67 to 84 bhp and a turbo version could be anywhere from 85-120Bhp depending on the exact version as there have been lots of different variations of this engine so it could be a significant performance drop changing to a naturaly aspirated engine.
