    Default changing the speed on a 1006TAG2 Perkins diesel engine

    I purchased a Perkins 1006TAG3 Engine 2 years ago I want to alter the speed from 1500 RPM to 1800 RPM as i'm not sure how to do this, anything reguarding the change in speed of this perkins engine would be appreciated.

    To change the speed of this 1103C-33TG3 engine, you need the electronic govonor software. This is normally only available to Perkins dealers and large OEMs and is under licence. You must buy not only the leads but then pay the licence on an yearly basis.
    If you want to adjust the speed of your engine, please contact your nearest Perkins agent or your OEM directly.
