wiring diagram for a TAD941GE

Guys,

I have a generator with a TAD941GE shutting down shown a "CAN BUS ERROR" After a few run ins with Volvos, I know it's a loose or broken connection somewhere. Someone else was troubleshooting it before and pulled a real good number on the harness. Does anyone have a wiring diagram I can use to verify all connections at the engine? Thanks!

What's the best way to test the ECM for power on this engine?

If the engine is running at all, there is not a power issue.
Without it the unit injectors will not function and hence it would not run.

Could any body send me the wiring schematics for TAD941GE Engine ?
Is there any way to test this engine without CIU or DCU. ?

You do need a DCU or CUI I am afraid to test this engine.

We only use the 8 pin plug on these engines and they are wired as follows:

Red - Fused Battery Positive
Black - Battery Negative
Green - ECU Stop
Red / Blue - ECU Power

The other wires are CAN. Most controllers use the J1939 pair to control the engine. If you use the wrong pair, or the wrong way round, it will not work.
