    Default Sets not syncing

    Hi,

I hope someone can help me, we have two sets that are supposed to be sync'ing and they are not. When the mains is thrown, only one set starts and the other set displays "MSC Error: Too Few Sets".

I am using DSE 550 modules.

    Thank you for your question.

This problem is caused when setting up a DSE 550 module for syncronising that has the incorrect number of sets set in the modules memory. When the number of sets is two small, for example it is set to 1, when there are two sets, the first set will start and the second will display the message "MSC Link: Too Few Sets".

You should go into the P810 configuration software and read in the configuration from the controller and then goto:

    Re-Calibrate >> Sync + Load Control >> Multiset

There is an option there called "Number Of Sets". In a two set system, this must be set to 2, on both controllers.

When you have correct this, both sets should start.
